T’Pau singer Carol Decker kept Sir Paul McCartney and George Harrison from the top of the charts when her band went to number one in 1987.
The flame-haired singer became an international superstar as China In Your Hand, Heart & Soul and Valentine enjoyed worldwide success. They were taken from T’Pau’s debut album, Bridge Of Spies, which earned four platinum discs and led to five BRIT Award nominations.
